JOURNEY THROUGH LENT

As Napa UWF members, we have a variety of ways to experience this season of Lent.  The Napa Methodist Lenten theme this year invites us to experience the journey with our walking sticks and walking shoes, both literally and emotionally.  It’s not too late to create some time with a UWF partner to not only share some thoughts and reflections, but to also plan on meeting for an actual walk, even if it’s just to walk around the block together after a meeting. … Read the rest “UWF Newsletter, March, 2026”

COMPASSION WEEKEND SUCCESS

We had a great turnout for the Napa UWF projects for Compassion weekend.  Members sorted new men’s and women’s socks to be donated to the Napa Homeless Shelter.  And members also created toiletry kits for the homeless shelter.  They also boxed up all the shoes that had been donated  and collected for the Soles4Souls organization.   A big THANK YOU to Pat Parker for getting all the supplies for the toiletry kits!  When we work together, we can do great things!… Read the rest “UWF Newsletter – October, 2025”
