Psalm 25:1-10

Trust in YOU!

Disgrace, defeat…show me the path…point out the right road.

Lead by truth and teach me

All      day     long     I hope in you.

Forgive me for the past…

Look through the eyes of your unfailing love 🙂

You do what is right.

You lead when I stray

You lead me when I’m humble

Teaching me your way.

Leading to Bethlehem through advent we waited using words: anticipation; hope; patience; obedience; to filter our journey following the star.  Now leading from Bethlehem the obstacles (opportunities) are challenging me to be all I can be. Risks taken– in truth– be humble.  I follow Jesus’ footsteps from Bethlehem following the star of hope in each new day. My journey, Lord is to please you and to trust you.  Forgive me for past weaknesses as I learn to outgrow the manger and let love spill over everywhere in my life.  Empty space in me by: embracing fear- turning it to trust, impatience- turning it to loving kindness and control-letting go of my way in and of this world, to bring your heaven here on earth.  Fill these new spaces and change me as you teach me your way.  Thinking of the donkey that carried Mary and Jesus, Lord, am I to be like the donkey, helping ease the journey for others along the way?

GPS Question:

Jesus’ lifestyle could be characterized by humility. He looked not to his own interests, but to the interests of others. He emptied himself, taking the form of a salve. He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death.  How does humility characterize your life?
