Come for the knitting, stay for the friendship!
When asked how to describe their group, the response was immediate: Support Group! This group knits, crochets, talks, laughs and supports each other each week. The group creates prayer shawls for members ot the church, their family, and friends during times of trouble. They also take on special projects (e.g., Helen Reddick made 1,000 teddy bears that were distributed to children around the world). They happily receive donations of yarn, magazines and patterns.
Drop-Ins Welcome! (No experience necessary, and you don’t even have to knit when you’re there!)
