Sundays4Kids is our ministry program for children ages 3 to 10. This program provides a place where families are assured of a fun, safe and grounded ministry where children interact with friends under adult guidance while learning about the Love of God and the life and teachings of Jesus. Music is an integral part of our program and new songs are taught each month that coincide with the theme. (Check the church event calendar for the theme!)
Children are in worship with their families until the “Time with the Child” and are then invited to the 4Kids Room. On Intergenerational Communion Sunday (first Sunday of the month), children will be in worship and celebration with their families for the entire church service.
Core messages we teach are:
- God loves us no matter where we are and who we are
- Love what God loves, everything and everybody, that means you and me
- Treat one another in the way we want to be treated
- Jesus said “Follow me.”
- Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength
- Our church community is compassionate, kind, respectful and understanding
Our Children’s Ministry leaders care deeply about all the children at Napa Methodist Church. Teachers are: Leigh Andersen, Joan Feury, Jenny Latona, Patricia Parker (program leader), Ellyn Patterson and Vicki Poli.
