A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TEA

WITH VOICES

Our Napa United Women in Faith hosted a wonderful tea on Saturday, December 13th which benefitted the Napa Voices Youth Center.  Andres Cantera from Voices and members of their staff gave a great presentation of the services that Voices provides to Napa youth.  Some of their staff members joined with our church  members as servers as well!

Tickets sales to the tea and silent auction opportunities for all those attending was very successful!  At the end of December, we were able to send Voices a check in the amount of $6,090.19.

A big THANK YOU goes out to all our tea committee members; Cheryl Casciana,

Evelyn Lutz, Leigh Andersen, Marlene Haas, Gretta Steinbruner, Sheila Vaughn, Margaret Van Zandt, and Holly Zaccone.

It was great to learn more about Voices and see how we can continue to support their mission with youth in the future.

Some of our committee members with the Voices staff and volunteers.

Member Spotlight will continue next month in our Potpourri newsletter.

Susanna Wesley Circle will be a new circle group starting in January.  They will meet during the week with an early evening time slot once a month.  For more info, please contact Bobbi Bird or Holly Zaccone.

UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

ASSEMBLY  MAY 15 – 17,  2026

The United Women in Faith Assembly is in May of this year and now it feels like it’s just around the corner!  It’s not too late to join some of our Napa members for this experience in Indianapolis, Indiana!  So far, Holly Zaccone, Molly Peck, Joan Feury, Connie Matthew Warren and Jannie Whitmer have committed to attend.  Will you be joining them?  Experience moments of reflection, renewal, and connection in faith with women from around the world.  And connect with women from around the world who share your commitment to social  justice and spiritual growth.  Contact any of the above names for information regarding how to register.  Or click on this link:

COMPASSION MINISTRIES

Eva and Mike’s Brown Bags will need volunteers on Saturday, Jan.  24th at 9:30 a.m. to help build  lunches for the homeless shelter.  Last month we made 90 lunches so I’m sure that we will either meet that quantity or make even more.  Home baked cookies are always a needed donation as well.  Contact Leah Danao for more information.
